14,500 fans #WearTheRose in support of England Rugby at The O2

Last night saw the O2 Arena come to life as over 14,500 passionate England Rugby fans gathered together for England's official Rugby World Cup send off.

The event saw the England Rugby Team take to the stage at the capital's number one entertainment venue for an evening with their fans alongside Take That, Soprano Laura Wright and 2014 Britain's Got Talent Winner Collabro.

"It's fantastic, a great event for the fans and for us, we get to see the support from the nation and that they're behind us. There's a good feeling in the room and we're looking forward to the event tonight." - Sam Burgess, speaking to England Rugby TV ahead of #WearTheRose

Throughout the night fans were treated to a selection of entertainment from the England Rugby Team which included performances with Take That, live Q&A's and on screen video messages. Even Prince Harry sent a message of support.

Chants of 'Swing Low' were being echoed around the arena as the thousands of fans showed their overwhelming support for the home nation. England Rugby Captain Chris Robshaw comments: “The support that we get from our dedicated fans means so much to the team and they really can be the difference when we are out on the pitch."
